An upcoming hotel based in Naivasha, seeks to hire a highly competent, self-driven and result oriented Head Housekeeper.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain high quality housekeeping standards established and ensure guests’ expectations are exceeded
  • Organize, supervise and coordinate the work of housekeeping staff on a day-to-day basis.
  • Establish and maintain standard operating procedures for cleaning and develop new procedures to increase efficiency of labour and product use.
  • Maintain regular inventory and checking of furniture, linen, uniform, equipment in the hotel.
  • Ensure excellence in housekeeping sanitation, safety and comfort of guests.
  • Prepare monthly and weekly reports-for the section.

Requirements

  • Certificate from a recognised in Hospitality Management institution. A Diploma or degree is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of four (4) years’ experience in housekeeping role, two (2) of which should be at the level of Housekeeping supervisor in a busy establishment.
  • Excellent skills in people management, teamwork, interpersonal relations, organisation and communication.
