Job Title: Sales Representative – Agricultural Tractors

Location: Nairobi

Reports to: General Manager

Salary: 80k (Plus Commissions)

Our client is a market leader in the automotive industry handling Imports, Assembling, Repair and servicing of Commercial vehicles and Agricultural machinery.

They seek to hire a well-experienced Sales Representative generate revenue through sales while offering excellent customer experience.

The incumbent will be selling Agricultural Tractors and equipment products such as skid loaders, hay tools, planters, and tillage tools among other implements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source for Market, Prospect and close sales for Agricultural Machinery
  • Complete extensive training regarding the product line including all the implements
  • Maintain strong knowledge base of all new tractor/equipment makes and models.
  • Interact and consult with customers to guide them through their implement purchase.
  • Create the best buying experience to make lifelong customer retention.
  • Must have technical knowledge to operate and demonstrate features.
  • Establish personal goals that are consistent with dealership standards of productivity and devise a strategy to meet those goals.
  • Complete quotes, return email/voicemail, other administrative functions, to include running credit applications and processing transaction paperwork.
  • Offer excellent customer experience both physically and through online engagements
  • Follow up with existing and potential customers to generate leads and close sales.
  • Conduct effective demonstration of units
  • Close sales by working closely with the Finance & Insurance team
  • Follow up to ensure customer satisfaction/repeat business and referrals
  • Stay on top of market trends and current dealership inventor
  • Cold calling on customers, able to follow up on leads
  • Flexible work schedule to be in office, out selling, demoing equipment as needed
  • Work with other store/complex employees well, team player
  • Preparation of proper and accurate invoices.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Business Degree in Sales and Marketing or in a related field
  • 10 Years’ sales experience handling Agricultural Tractors and implements
  • Demonstrate an excellent sales track record
  • Excellent communication skills
  • An extrovert with the ability to create and maintain business relationships
  • Excellent Sales Skills and techniques
  • Industry knowledge on market trends and understanding target market.
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Extreme organizational capacity
