FMCG General Manager Job, Current Sales & Marketing Kenya Jobs,

Our client a horticultural importing and exporting company is currently looking to hire a General Manager.


  • Oversee and coordinate all the prospecting and customer management functions ensuring that they are performed with the highest efficiency and that customers are happy
  • Ensuring smooth collaboration with the various stakeholders and improve processes based on customers’ feedback
  • Work with the CEO to design and implement ideas and strategies to introduce new products, services, acquire new customers and break into new markets
  • Directly manage the relationship with key accounts in the portfolio guaranteeing a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Invest in coaching and development of your team, taking advantage of opportunities to grow team members’ responsibilities
  • Maintain a high-performance culture, designing a motivating compensation policy and rewarding outstanding accomplishment
  • Hire and coach new talents into the team as dictated by the expansion strategy
  • Effectively utilize the Enterprise Resource Planning system (ERP) ensuring that all teams input the right data to get the right set of reports
  • Track sales to ensure that accuracy in reports
  • Manage all revenue targets ensuring that they are met
  • Find opportunities to develop and improve systems, delegate responsibilities to enable the team to handle more work with increasing complexity
  • Introduce key control points, allowing you to maintain quality and accuracy of the growing company.


  • Business graduate from an accredited University
  • At least 5-7 years’ experience within the FMCG sector
  • Leadership, planning, dynamic, analytical and self-driven individual with the ability to coordinate and motivate teams.
  • A passion for performance, team player and achievement in a competitive and dynamic environment
  • Excellent selling, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Strong networking skills and ability to work with individuals from different backgrounds
  • Commercial awareness, entrepreneurial mindset and customer focus
