Baked Pans Conveyor Loader

Location: Nakuru

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for offloading of the pans from the baked trollies onto the pan conveyor.
  • Follow the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to the letter and ensure no deviations, if any report immediately to Supervisor.
  • Ensure that there is no lapse in the required dough pieces in the pans.
  • Maintain housekeeping and machines cleanliness to the safety standards in place.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years in bakery Production position.
  • Communicate successfully in both written and verbal format in the English (business) language, Preference for mastery of the local language, Swahili to enhance shop-floor communication.

Mixer Operator

Location: Nakuru

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for operating the Mixer Machine correctly during shift and to produce dough according to the approved recipes in place
  • Follow the Mixer Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to the letter and ensure no deviations. If any deviations occur, report immediately to the Production Shift Supervisor.
  • Ensure that there is no lapse in the required dough to the divider/moulder.
  • Maintain housekeeping and machine cleanliness to the safety standards in place.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years in bakery Production as a Mixer operator.
  • Must be precise in all data capturing, scaling of ingredients and measuring of temperatures.
  • Must have practical knowledge of dough development, tests and corrective actions to be taken.

Make-up Plant Operator

Location: Nakuru

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for operating the make-up plant machines correctly during shift to produce dough pieces according to the approved size and scaling weights in place
  • Follow the machines SOP’s to the letter and ensure no deviations, if any report immediately to Supervisor.
  • Ensure that there is no lapse in the required dough pieces to the pans.
  • Maintain housekeeping and machines cleanliness to the safety standards in place.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years in bakery Production as a Make-up operator.
  • Must be precise in all data capturing, ensuring scaling of dough pieces

Pan to Trolley Loader

Location: Nakuru

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for loading the pans onto the trollies after moulder.
  • Follows the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to the letter and ensure no deviations. If any deviations occur, report immediately to the Shift Supervisor.
  • Ensure that there are no lapses in the required dough pieces in the pans.
  • Maintain housekeeping and machines cleanliness to the safety standards in place.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years in bakery Production position.
  • Communicate successfully in both written and verbal format in the English (business) language, Preference for mastery of the local language, Swahili to enhance shop-floor communication

Final Prover Exit

Location: Nakuru

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the operation of the Final Prover, ensuring correct exit of the trollies from the Final Prover during shift to ensure correct proving of product in a two trollies sequence.
  • Follow the Final Prover Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to the letter and ensure no deviations, if any report immediately to Shift Supervisor.
  • Ensure that there is no lapse in the required trollies to the Ovens.
  • Maintain housekeeping and machines cleanliness to the safety standards in place.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years in bakery Production position.
  • Ability to interpret a digital temperature and Humidity interface.
  • Certificate Industrial baking course, would be advantages

Final Prover Feeder

Location: Nakuru

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the operation of the Final Prover, ensuring correct feeding of the trollies into the Final Prover during his shift to ensure correct proving of product in a two trollies sequence.
  • Follow the Final Prover Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to the letter and ensure no deviations, if any report immediately to Supervisor.
  • Ensure that there is no lapse in the required trollies to the Final Prover infeed.
  • Maintain housekeeping and machines cleanliness to the safety standards in place.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years in bakery Production position.
  • Mechanical machine experience and understanding.

Bread Lidder

Location: Nakuru

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible placing lids on the bread pans after Final Proving
  • Follow the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to the letter and ensure no deviations, if any report immediately to Supervisor.
  • Ensure that there is no lapse in the required dough pieces in the pans.
  • Maintain housekeeping and machines cleanliness to the safety standards in place.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years in bakery Production position.
  • Communicate successfully in both written and verbal format in the English (business) language, Preference for mastery of the local language, Swahili to enhance shop-floor communication.

Oven Man

Location: Nakuru

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for baking, Ovens and Final Provers during the shift
  • Controls the Oven and Final Prover operation and throughput as per their Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), during his shift
  • Ensure product baking and baking time is correct according to standard SOP’s, oven throughput for specific products is maintained.
  • Compile and present all required reports to Supervisor before leaving production area
  • Report and Analyze variances against Recipes and success of rectify action plans

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years in bakery production as an Oven Man.
  • Must be precise in all data capturing and measuring of temperatures
  • Must have practical knowledge of fuel burners and their dangers, tests and corrective actions to be taken
  • Proficient in administration, computer literacy at operator’s level, both oven and final prover have different instrumentation that needs to be set according to the product being baked.
  • Certificate level industrial baking course, concentrated on baking process.

De-Panner

Location: Nakuru

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for operating the De-Panning machine (De-Panner) correctly during his shift to ensure all bread is removed from the pans without any damages.
  • Follow the De-Panner Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to the letter and ensure no deviations, if any report immediately to Supervisor.
  • Maintain housekeeping and machine cleanliness to the safety standards in place.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years in bakery production position.
  • Communicate successfully in both written and verbal format in the English (business) language, Preference for mastery of the local language, Swahili to enhance shop-floor communication.

Hot Bread Packer

Location: Nakuru

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for hot bread from conveyor onto cooling trollies
  • Follow SOP’s to the letter and ensure no deviations, if any deviations report immediately to Supervisor.
  • Maintain housekeeping and work area cleanliness to the safety standards in place.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years in bakery Production position.
  • Communicate successfully in both written and verbal format in the English (business) language, Preference for mastery of the local language, Swahili to enhance shop-floor communication.

Trolley Pusher

Location: Nakuru

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for pushing trollies full and empty to wherever they are needed.
  • Follow the SOP’s to the letter and ensure no deviations, if any report immediately to Supervisor.
  • Ensure that there is no lapse in the required dough pieces in the pans.
  • Maintain housekeeping and machines cleanliness to the safety standards in place.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years in bakery Production position.

Bread Slicer Loader

Location: Nakuru

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for loading cold bread onto the slicer infeed conveyor from the bread cooling trollies.
  • Follow SOP’s to the letter and ensure no deviations, if any deviations report immediately to Supervisor.
  • Maintain housekeeping and work area cleanliness to the safety standards in place.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years in bakery Production position.
  • Communicate successfully in both written and verbal format in the English (business) language, Preference for mastery of the local language, Swahili to enhance shop-floor communication.

Packing Machine Operator

Location: Nakuru

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the operation of the complete Bread Packing Machine, Slicer/Bagger/Sealer/Date stamp printer as well as the poly bag hanging and feeding.
  • Follow SOP’s to the letter and ensure no deviations, if any deviations report immediately to Supervisor.
  • Maintain housekeeping and work area cleanliness to the safety standards in place.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years in bakery Production position.
  • Must have previously operated a high speed machine.
  • Mechanical and process understanding would be advantages

Bread Crater

Location: Nakuru

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for crating packed bread.
  • Follow SOP’s to the letter and ensure no deviations, if any deviations report immediately to Supervisor.
  • Maintain housekeeping and work area cleanliness to the safety standards in place.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years in bakery Production position.
  • Communicate successfully in both written and verbal format in the English (business) language, Preference for mastery of the local language, Swahili to enhance shop-floor communication.

Crate Trolley Man

Location: Nakuru

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for supplying cleaned empty crates to bread crater and push full crate trollies to dispatch receiving cages.
  • Follow SOP’s to the letter and ensure no deviations, if any deviations report immediately to Supervisor.
  • Maintain housekeeping and work area cleanliness to the safety standards in place.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years in bakery Production position.
  • Communicate successfully in both written and verbal format in the English (business) language, Preference for mastery of the local language, Swahili to enhance shop-floor communication.

Crate Washer

Location: Nakuru

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for washing and moving all crates on their return from the market.
  • Follow the SOP’s to the letter and ensure no deviations, if any report immediately to Supervisor.
  • Maintain housekeeping and machines cleanliness to the safety standards in place.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years in bakery Production position.
  • Communicate successfully in both written and verbal format in the English (business) language, Preference for mastery of the local language, Swahili to enhance shop-floor communication.
