Job Vacancy: HORECA Sales Representative

Salary: KShs 50k plus commission

Industry: Commercial

Our client is seeking to recruit a Sales Representative who will ensure timely availability and visibility of and replenished teas dispensers in hotels, restaurants and cafeteria so as to achieve set target and drive great staff and customer experience.

Responsibilities and accountabilities

1. Achieve product availability targets:

  • Identify and negotiate listing in HORECA’s
  • Enhance product accessibility
  • Ensure all HORECA’s are serviced as per agreement

2. Collaborate with marketing team:

  • Developing an understanding of product knowledge satisfaction promotional initiatives, pricing, placement and distribution.
  • Identifying and negotiating plan and execute activation opportunities such as tasting with customers

3. Meet sales targets:

  • Properly manage sales targets frequency and timeframes
  • Leverage HoReCa network to help influence sale

4. Timely debts collection from customers.

Key performance indicators

  • Availability of functioning tea dispensers in target shops
  • Ever replenished tea dispensers
  • Sales targets achievement
  • Market share growth
  • Timely reports
  • Increased HORECA customer base
  • Execution of planned activity marketing grid
  • Timely debt collection.

Minimum requirements

  • Diploma in Sales and Marketing or Business Studies
  • 3 years work experience in similar position
  • Proven sales experience to Hotels, Retail and Cafes
  • Extensive networks within the Hotel Industry.

  • Articulate in speech: – Able to clearly and effectively pass verbal information to different MMI stakeholders within and without the company.
  • Strategic thinker: able to have a long-term view of the company and have the end in mind

  • Leadership – Enable the team to grow through feedback and instruction and encouragement.

  • Negotiation – Achieve signoffs for business contracts in any joint business partnership meeting.

  • Internal Stakeholders: Finance dept., Distribution, logistics and Operations dept.
  • External Stakeholders: Partners, electronics technicians.
