ICAP Kenya Technical Advisor Job-Differentiated Service Delivery

ICAP of Columbia University (registered in Kenya as Center for International Programs-Kenya) is working in partnership with the Ministry of Health to strengthen Public Health Initiatives in Kenya.

Applications are invited for the following fixed term PROJECT RISE POSITIONS

JOB TITLE: Technical Advisor –Differentiated Service Delivery

 LOCATION: Nairobi

Overall job function

Reporting to the Country Director, the Technical Advisor- Differentiated Service Delivery will be responsible for supporting the national scale up of differentiated service delivery models within the country.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical assistance to NASCOP and County Health Management Teams (CHMT) to scale up the implementation of Differentiated Service Delivery in Kenya
  • Provide technical assistance to the Technical Working Group responsible for coordination of Differentiated Service Delivery activities with the Ministry of Health ( MOH) and other stakeholders
  • Provide technical assistance to scale up the monitoring and evaluation of Differentiated Service Delivery
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and documentation of lessons learnt

 Qualifications

  • Degree in Medicine. Master’s in public health an added advantage
  • At least three years relevant experience at advisory level in HIV Care and treatment implementation
  • At least three years’ experience in clinical management of HIV including experience with the use of Highly Active Anti-retroviral Therapy (HAART) and OI prophylaxis, diagnosis and management
  • Experience in partnerships and strategic alliances with MOH, IPs, other non-PEPFAR donors and interested parties an added advantage
  • Experience in Differentiated Service Delivery an advantage
