ECDE Quality Assurance Officer Job, Narok County Jobs Kenya 2021, 

Pursuant to the Constitution of Kenya 2010 (Article 185(2), 186(1) and 187(2) on distribution of functions between the National Government and County Government and the County Government Act No. 17 of 2012, the Narok County Public Service Board invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following positions in the Narok County Government.


SALARY SCALE: CPSB 10: Ksh. 31,270 X 1,300 – 32,570 X 1,380 – 33,950 X 1,390 – 35,340 X 1,460 –36,800 X 1,470 – 38,270 X 1,470 – 39,740 X 1,520 – 41,260 p.m


This is the entry grade for graduate teachers in Early Childhood Development and Education. A teacher at this level will work under the supervision of a more senior teacher for the purposes of professional mentoring and growth. (a) Duties and Responsibilities Duties and responsibilities will entail: Class teaching; facilitating learning; role; role modelling, guidance and counselling, mentoring and motivation of the learners; preparing reports; ensuring the safety and security of the learners; developing and facilitating play/learning activities that will enable learners enjoy living and learning through play in ECDE centers; developing relevant play/learning materials for all learners; preparing and developing schemes of work, lesson plan and daily program of activities, assessment and evaluation of children progress and keeping other professional records; assisting in planning the ECDE Centre programmed; conducting research on ECDE; participating in stakeholder engagements in the ECDE sector; mobilizing and sensitizing communities on the need for ECDE; and assisting in the implementation of the ECDE policy.


  • Degree in Early Childhood Development and Education from a recognized institution;
  • Registered by the Teachers Service Commission;
  • Certificate in computer application skills;
  • Certificate of Good Conduct from the National Police Service; and
  • valid medical report from a recognized government health
