PSC Occupational Therapist Job(12 Posts)

Assistant Occupational Therapist Job, Latest Kenyan Medical Jobs,

ASSISTANT OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST III – TWELVE (12) POSTS – V/No. 94/2021

Basic Salary Scale:  Ksh.25, 470 Ksh.33,950 p.m. CSG 12

House Allowance:Ksh.3, 200 Ksh.6, 750p.m (Depending on duty station)

Commuter Allowance: Ksh.4, 000p.m

Leave allowance: As existing in the Civil Service

Annual Leave: 30 working days per financial year

Medical Cover: As provided by the government

Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable

Qualifications

 For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:

  • a Diploma or Higher Diploma in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution;
  • been registered and licensed by the Kenya Occupational Therapy

 Responsibilities

  • formulating progressive treatment, rehabilitating and habilitating of in or out patients;
  • performing procedures as prescribed by the attending clinician;
  • providing recreational education of hospitalized patients;
  • assessing patients for vocational placement;
  • habilitating patients with congenital malformations; and
  • resettling patients with physical inadequacies
