Job Title: Polymers Sales Manager (Kenyan-Asian)

Location: Nairobi, Kenya

Report to: Business Heads – Kenya

Manage/Supervise: Team of Sales Executives

JOB MISSION: Responsible for Sales & Business Development of Polymers Products & Solutions and Collections.

Responsibilities

  • Expand the business in the assigned territory – with existing customers and look for new customer development.
  • Identify new products within the assigned segments and recommend to management for its addition with backup data after thorough market mapping.
  • Maintaining & Maximizing Current Customer Potential
  • Building Deep Networks across Customer’s Organization
  • Creating Opportunities on Product Plus, Service Plus
  • Single Point of Contact for the Customer
  • Developing Existing Markets – Lead Generation, Prospecting
  • Business Development of Chosen Sectors – Polymers, Fillers, Additives, Master Batches, and new segments of company’s interest
  • Manage Costs –Keep track of Clearing, Bond, Transport & Warehousing costs, and work towards its reduction.
  • Recommend Credit Limits to management & work within the Same on its approval
  • Demand Forecasting – To Leverage Customer Demand without Overstocking
  • Marketing Products to Customers – Selling the benefit of the product that fulfills customer’s specific needs
  • Conduct Survey at Customer’s Premises and territory to ensure compliance to the company’s standards and regulations, while offering business support needed by the customer inclusive of collection of orders.
  • Debt Collection and Credit Control.
  • Managing Customer Complaints – Following Up on Complaints and resolving them to customer’s satisfaction. Handling and managing quality related matters.
  • Market research and Competitor analysis

 Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree, MBA qualification will be an advantage
  • Must have 8 – 13 years in Sales Business Development and collections of Polymers Products & Solutions trading Experience, preferably in Kenya.
