Career Opportunity: Customer Relationship Officer

Job Purpose: Provide an excellent and consistent customer experience and ensure excellent customer service, high levels of professionalism, accuracy and prompt service delivery within our banking operations.

The position is responsible for making it easy for all the customers seeking financial solutions from the SACCO, thereby creating a delighted and loyal customer base.


  • Degree in Marketing / Public Relations or Business / Customer Service related field.
  • Computer literate
  • Aged 30 -40 years
  • 5 years work experience in a similar position. Experience in a Banking Sector will be an added advantage.

Key Duties and Responsibilities for Customer Relationship Officer

1. Customer service: Ensure high standards of customer service ensuring all customer queries are handled appropriately including the opening and maintenance of customer accounts.

2. Documentation and data management; ensure all customer data is accurately captured and well documented for enhanced business processes.

3. Maintaining regular internal (to staff] and external (to customers] communication and feedback on Customer Service matters.

4. Resolve product or service problems enabling all service users to successfully complete their desired transactions.

5. Ensure timely and accurate communication to our members regarding SACCO products and services.

6. Transaction processing: Process daily customer transactions in line with Tai SACCO policies and other operation procedures

7. Sales and cross Sales: Proactively engage in products and services sales and cross sales and the accompanying brand promise

8. Participate in implementation of strategic marketing campaigns for effective product and services awareness and uptake by the market

9. Ensure full compliance with the operations manual related to customer service aspects.

10. Any other duty that may be assigned from time to time by the supervisor
